Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust data governance framework, including policies, standards, and best practices.
- Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure accountability across the organization.
- Establish and monitor data quality metrics and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Lead initiatives to resolve data-related issues and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with business units, data stewards, and IT teams to ensure alignment with data governance objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to enforce governance policies and resolve conflicts.
- Provide insights into governance activities through regular reporting and dashboards.
- Analyze and improve the organization's data lifecycle processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing data governance programs.
- Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
- Responsible for designing, establishing, and implementing data governance framework and key data governance artifacts (Policies, standards, documentation, definitions, processes, and templates etc.)
- Metadata management and configuration: Data Catalog, Source System Integrations, Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries.
- Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
- Proficient in tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or other data governance platforms.
