- Expertise in data management and data risk mitigation with working knowledge of managing for AI/ML lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data tools (e.g., Spark).
- Strong grasp of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, OR other data warehouses) and data governance tools (e.g., Apache Atlas, Collibra, OR IBM WatsonX).
- Knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, OR EU AI act) and AI risk management frameworks (NIST AI RMF, OR ISO/IEC 23894).

Job Description
The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a high energy professional with subject matter expertise in software engineering and computer science to support the Applied AI team and product portfolio, focusing on Red Team projects within the LAIC.Our AI Red Team ensures AI systems are safe, secure, compliant, and ethical by identifying vulnerabilities and certifying models. We are building a multidisciplinary team of experts in data, algorithms, hardware/software, and ML frameworks to pursue this goal at speed and scale as the adoption of AI grows.The AI Data Security and Compliance Specialist will test and certify AI models for data-related dependencies to ensure safety, security, privacy, and compliance. The role also involves developing long-term standards, practices, and tools for secure data usage, aligning with the risk frameworks such as NIST AI RMF.Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on testing of datasets and AI models to identify vulnerabilities like bias, leakage, data security, and privacy risks.
- Develop reusable frameworks and practices for data governance, traceability, usage, and compliance.
- Implement and manage tools for data validation, lineage tracking, and privacy preservation.
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and security teams to ensure robust and ethical data usage.
- Align with NIST AI RMF requirements, ensuring data-related risks are addressed across the AI lifecycle.
- Stay updated on emerging data tools, technologies, and regulations specifically related to adoption of AI.
Must exhibit self-motivation, a strong work ethic, time management and interpersonal skills.

- DoD Red Team and Cybersecurity experience.
